Welcome to my online portfolio. My name is MIchael Villar and I am a game developer in the making. 

 

I recently graduated from Westwood College - Anaheim, where I studied for my Bachelor's of Computer Science Degree as a Game Software Developer Major. I graduated on March 2015 and was selected Valedictorian in my program.

 

During my stay at Westwood, I have programmed several games both in teams and on my own. I've used the Unity engine and developed my own simple engine using C++ DirectX and C# XNA. One of these XNA based games was also submitted to the IEEE collegiate game competition and though we did not place, I learned a lot from that experience.
